Optixa is pleased to announce a new installation of original New Orleans images by Eric Schneider, to be displayed at Yancy's! restaurant in Raleigh, NC.
Several images will be featured as large scale photo-murals, visible throughout the restaurant. In addition, a series of selections from Eric's photography archives will be framed and on display in the new VIP dining area, which is illuminated by a fiber-optic "star-field" on the ceiling. Each image has been selected to provide a historical look at the people and heritage of New Orleans. Images fill the space to accompany the fine dining and great music found at Yancy's!

TOque Games-Toronto March 4-6, 2005

The TOque Games occured in Toronto, Canada on March 4th, 5th and 6th 2005. Upon entering the convention center, I was drawn through the aisles of two-wheeled bicycles of every shape and size. I spotted one unicycle, but I knew there had to be more. Sure enough, I turned the corner to see an obstacle course of orange ramps, platforms, steps, rails, and....a car! The Photo Safari was about to begin:

A photo safari is an adventure into the unknown where the subjects will be revealed through the lens of the camera. The journey may be a distant exotic destination or your own neighborhood, bound by a common theme of painting with light. The colors of the setting sun, a burst of light from a flash, and the combination of lens, shutter, and film all result in a series of captured moments along the way.
